Have you ever heard of Kanigen?
This company has become one of the leaders in chemical surface treatment of technical pieces and offers different types of electroless nickel coatings for the automotive, industrial and defense sectors...
In other words, Kanigen reworks Nickel pieces to give them new mechanical and chemical properties that are particularly interesting.
Kanigen wouldn't be one of the leaders today, if it didn't ensure the quality of its products. For this reason, they make it a point of honor to follow a quality process to ensure an EXCELLENT production. They will therefore check the quality of the arrival of the source pieces, the work of the pieces along the production cycle as well as the result at the end of the cycle.
Kanigen must track the pieces throughout the cycle with respect to delivery, processing and shipping to make sure there are no worries. As said before, it will validate the quality of the pieces at each stage of the production and prove the quality of the pieces at the exit of the warehouse in case of complaint of customers.
Until a few months ago, this process was followed with a notepad and a camera. This meant almost 2 hours per day of transcribing and filing images. Not to mention the time needed to retrieve the information in case of a complaint.
But today, thanks to Plugnotes, the quality team was able to optimize these tasks by digitizing them at the source. The received pieces are now encoded in Plugnotes via their references and photographed, the delivery documents are immediately scanned and the customers receive a receipt.
Throughout the production process, quality checks have to be performed and encoded such as temperature, size, shape... Photos/videos are taken as evidence to analyze the information gathered, a task that used to take an enormous amount of time but which now, thanks to Plugnotes, saves them time.
Nothing escapes Plugnotes! In the event of problems, information can be retrieved instantly via the search engine and, if required, reports or complete files can be shared with third parties without the need for retranscription.
When do we start with you?
